i am a trans/non-binary/two-spirit being. i began embodying yoga in 2015, as i was learning to release intergenerational trauma. i am a practicing artist--i believe all beings are artists, as we design, participate, and perceive our many worlds. through my writing, i grapple with our interconnected networks (rhizomatics) of social and environmental relationships, as i return to my senses. within my practice of facilitating, i acknowledge spaces of complexity; embracing our interconnectedness & imagining our web of ancestral knowledge. as embodiment may be a tool to tap into our repositories--our containers/vessels/meat-suits--our unique places of abstract information, i weave together movement, breath-work, and meditation, as i co-create space for the integration of balance, inspiration, and fluidity. my practice is rooted in decolonial thought, i hope these practices are reminders of our agency within communities, our unique ways of embodying knowledge, and a returning to the land.
